We're down to the final four and the big finale of The Face! But if that double elimination in the last episode wasn't a big enough surprises—there are many more to come before the final runway challenge, too. But before that, let's take a sneak peek at the final show and linger on the STUNNING test shots of Devyn, Ebony, Margaux and Zi Lin before someone is crowned "The Face." No spoilers here!
Trying something a little different in today’s recap of The Face… a highlights reel! And we’re all very lucky, folks, because we have the bonus of getting ingenious insight from none other than my own mother, who I am visiting right now in South Florida. (My father chose the option of “being in another room.”) Let’s relive some of the best moments from last night’s episode, shall we?
Well, we had to know that Ms. "Tissues for Your Issues" wasn't leaving without a bang. After Karolina sent her packing, Jocelyn had a few choice words to say and some smack to talk before getting on that elevator. (Yup, she uses the words "Margaux" and "plateaued" in a sentence once again.) This is definitely a must-watch and we want to hear your thoughts in the comments!
During an intense hot-button-question filled episode of "The Face" last night, Wendy Williams tackled a really important issue—you know, when she asked Devyn if it was "hard to be a black girl model?" and it snowballed from there.
Well, happy birthday to us because Naomi is joining Coco and Nigel on the Fill-in-the-Blanks fun! And what a perfect time to hear from the thrice-winning (but this time losing) coach. Yesterday's episode of The Face was jam-packed with OMG moments: Devyn's cultural identity moment on the red carpet, Zi Lin's alternative name for her purple eyeshadow and Jocelyn going home. We won't keep you any longer, here's what the Queen of the Runway has to say:
Oh, Jocelyn, it's been really real. The Team Naomi member has definitely made the competition on The Face interesting—from her shark obsession to her, uh, aloof demeanor to her heated squabbling with Sandra. Considering Jocelyn’s penchant for memorable one-liners (“here’s a tissue for your issues”), we’re really looking forward to hearing what she has to say about running into her The Face nemesis at parties and being called “invisible” by Pat Cleveland. Here goes:
Six down and one more to go! The Face last night was intense, right? Red carpet couture gowns, Stephanie’s awkward moment (“I hate you condom!”) and Spanish Inquisition-level interviews by Wendy Williams—all making for one damn good episode. Of course, that also brings some burning questions of our own. So let’s look to dapper host Nigel Barker to fill-us-in. Here goes!
You know the drill by now—at the end of this episode of "The Face," two contestants will get the boot. *Sad face.* Don't you have all these questions you're dying to ask the poor girls? Well, this time you won't have to wait to read our exit interviews because you can watch (and join) our Google+ Hangout at 10pm ET, otherwise known as, right now. And head on over to our Google+ page to ask your questions or tweet @TheFaceonOxygen with #TheFaceHangout hashtag. Don't miss out—you know how much fun we had at the last one.
That annual ritual known as March Madness kicks off on Sunday and while not all of us at "The Face" are super into the whole sports thing, we have noticed that basketball games tend to attract a fair amount of supermodels. And yes, that may be because a lot of models have dated avid Lakers fan Leonardo DiCaprio, but these beautiful ladies—including coaches Naomi and Karolina—seem to be pretty into it. So let's take a look 12 Amazing Pics of Models Courtside.
We know Naomi loves her some Azzedine Alaia, and Alaia loves her right back—especially in this beautiful Grecian cut-out mini-dress. This steamy look is finally hitting your screens in tonight's brand new episode of "The Face" (9/8c!). She pairs dress with a pair of studded Christian Louboutin Lady Peep Spike platforms and just crushes it with two simple pieces. No wonder guest star Amar'e Stoudemire can barely keep his hand on his ball. Want to shop those exact shoes? (Or a budget option?) Click on through.
