Hey, you know that Naomi Campbell always makes a grand entrance, right? So may we present the Queen of the Runway's Fill-in-the-Blanks recap of The Face finale—fashionably late, of course. Team Naomi was thisclose to the crown with Zi Lin on the final runway challenge, but the official win still went to Team Karolina's Devyn. Let's give Ms. Campbell the last word.
Ah, the fun we’ve had this season! The dreams of eight aspiring models have already been crushed as we find ourselves down to a measly four remaining competitors who will duke it out to become the Face of Ulta Cosmetics.
Congratulations, Devyn! The Team Karolina member is officially The Face, but then you've been talking about that all night, right? Well, the very busy mom and face of ULTA Beauty took the time to answer some burning questions, to dish on her biggest competitor, and to question Nigel and Karolina's decision during that quick change challenge. Read on for the dirt!
Team Karolina member and mother of two Ebony made it to the final four and the finale of The Face, but didn’t make it to the runway challenge. Along the way, she made her mark by dancing her way to an individual challenge win and being half of the only team that actually worked together. It was hard to say goodbye to Ebony before the final decision, but we did catch up with her recently for an exit chat. And she has some exciting news to share!
It was really close, right? With two individual wins in her pocket and a lot of love from the judges, it seemed like Zi Lin might have The Face in the bag. Despite the final win going to Devyn, the former Miss China Universe did make a really strong impression on everyone. Zi Lin has a few last things to say about her time on The Face–including that whole “Special Purple-Gate” situation.
Seven episodes, 12 contestants and 12 challenges later, The Face has wrapped and, yes, we have one more round of Fill-in-the-Blanks to play. First up, Nigel Barker weighs in. It’s been real, Nige!
That was an epic finale of The Face, wasn’t it? Was it what you expected? Up until tonight, Margaux got the screen time and Zi Lin had two individual wins under her belt, but Devyn was kind of under-the-radar. But maybe that was the Rihanna doppelganger’s strategy since she’s the one who was crowned The Face of ULTA Beauty in the end. So what do you think? Do you think Devyn should have won The Face? Vote in the poll! And tell us in the comments who you were pulling for and why!
It happened: The finale of The Face. Aren't you dying to know what's going through the winner's head? You'll also want to hear from rest of the final four who made it to the end of a long and hard fought battle. So watch the Google+ Hangout right now (well, at 10pm)! You can still RSVP and head on over to our Google+ page to ask your questions or tweet @TheFaceonOxygen with #TheFaceHangout hashtag.
Ever notice that host Nigel Barker tends to be the bearer of bad news? He springs another whopper on the final four contestants in this sneak peek and Devyn, well, freaks. We told you The Face was serious business.
One more day until the big finale of The Face! But not so fast. Before they get to the final runway show, the girls have to complete one more arduous test challenge. So Devyn, Ebony, Margaux and Zi Lin take a ride out to an ULTA Beauty outpost (FYI, there are no ULTAs in NYC—when can we get one?) for a cram course in how to sell the brand's products. Take a look at this sneak peek and tell us—which one of the final four would convince you to buy an ULTA special purple eyeshadow?
You do NOT want to miss the season finale of 'The Face' on Tuesday, March 26 at 9/8c!
