Tomorrow night's episode of "The Face" features a high-pressure red carpet challenge, so it's only fitting that legendary model Pat Cleveland came in to prepare the girls for the competition.
The stars of "The Face" are seriously dedicated to their new show—and to fashion. Even though the big premiere was on Tuesday (still tired!), Nigel, Coco, Karolina and Naomi still made an effort to hit New York Fashion Week. They were spotted front row, backstage, on the runway and even riding a tricked out bus (more on that in a bit). One coach even brought her newbie team member to a show. So to close out NYFW and say "game on" to London, Paris and Milan, let's check out the "The Face" Stars' Top NYFW Moments.
Turns out Nigel running into Bravo's Andy Cohen on "The Face" premiere party yellow carpet was a happy foreshadowing to his appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" last night. Nigel was the guest, along with "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" hot mess Taylor Armstrong. Nigel had his moment when Andy asked about "The Face" host's infamous firing off "America's Next Top Model" by Tyra Banks. You have to watch to hear the full awesomeness, but here's a teaser quote: "Watch out, Tyra!" Remember to watch "The Face" season premiere, tonight, Tue. Feb. 12 at 9/8c. There's a new host in town. SNAP.
Ooh, a really good best (and first!) Fashion Week story here. Team Naomi member Sandra Woodley's first ever experience on the runway was walking in New York-based designer Rubin Singer's show. Who's Rubin Singer you may ask? Well, most people would have asked that same question, too, until Beyoncé caused a power outage at the Superbowl in the cut-out leather onesie that he designed. Nice going, Sandra! Singer also designed the outfits for Mrs. Carter's back-up dancers and former Destiny's Child members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland—the latter whos Sandra met after the show. Let her tell you herself.
You've seen "The Fight to Make the Final 12" elimination special (and if you haven't for fashion's sake, watch it here) and now it's time to say goodbye to the dozen who won't be moving into the model loft. "The Face" coach Coco Rocha has some encouraging words for the girls on their way out: "Taking the contestants from 24 to 12 was a very harsh and quick process. I'm sure as the weeks go on I'll learn more about the 12 that we dismissed and I bet some of them would have been amazing contenders."
I don't watch much basketball and same goes for football, unless you count fashion and gossip magazine stalking of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen. But there are a whole lotta models out there that are big football fans (or football player fans, eh hem, Kate Upton). So in honor of the Superbowl XLVII, feast your eyes on our top 15 photos of hot models with football players. Wait, who's playing this Sunday?
"The Face" host Nigel Barker will be very busy starting next week. Along with show premiering on Tuesday, New York Fashion Week is kicking off on Thursday. Ah! But Nigel can multi-task with the best of them and he wouldn't miss a NYFW for the world. "I love Fashion Week and will be there in full throttle," he tells us. "From Pamella Roland to the Academy of the Arts and everywhere in between, I look forward to seeing you front row." Well, we love seeing you front row, Nigel, so here are our 22 favorite shots of you in your NYFW hot seat
If anyone is wondering if Nigel Barker is "nervous" about how his last reality show boss Tyra Banks will feel about his new hosting gig, the answer is no, as he told OK Magazine. Why should he be? After all, he's already told us, "ANTM is more of a caricature of the business while "The Face" is about the real world of modeling." Snap. But the big question is: Does he have Tyra's blessing?
The perfect post-New Year's Eve hangover cure? An drama-filled marathon of "America's Next Top Model": British Invasion on Oxygen from 10am to 12:30am ET/PT. The Brits versus Yanks season 18 is soooo addicting and the guest judges include celebs from both sides of the pond, including Kelly Osbourne, Kris Jenner and Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman. But time your breaks accordingly, so you don't miss the amazing half-hour "Biggest Baddest Model Moments" special hosted by "The Face" host Nigel Barker. So, in honor of this supermodel show of synergy, let's take a look at the hunky photographer putting his Tyra Banks-taught smizing skills to work.
While you're gearing up for the February 12 premiere of "The Face", we have just the thing to get you in the supermodel mindset: "Biggest Baddest Model Moments" special, hosted by Nigel Barker, airing on Tuesday, January 1 at 10pm ET/PT. Nurse your New Year's hangover while experiencing a spectrum of exciting emotions: Schadenfreude (models are people, too), envy (did you know Gisele Bundchen makes twice as much than Tom Brady?) and a boatload of laughs (LONI LOVE!). Here are five reasons to watch:
