Exit Interviews: The 12 Who Didn't Make It Have Their Say

You've seen "The Fight to Make the Final 12" elimination special (and if you haven't for fashion's sake, watch it here) and now it's time to say goodbye to the dozen who won't be moving in to the model loft. "The Face" coach Coco Rocha has some encouraging words for the girls on their way out: "Taking the contestants from 24 to 12 was a very harsh and quick process. I'm sure as the weeks go on I'll learn more about the 12 that we dismissed and I bet some of them would have been amazing contenders."

"If you're part of the 12 who got sent home, don't worry about this one rejection, it's not the end of the road," Coco continues. "If I stopped modeling the first time I was rejected I wouldn't be here today. Just because you didn't make it then doesn't mean you cant make it on your own."

Host Nigel Barker is a bit more blunt, possibly pulling from his former experience as a judge on "America's Next Top Model."

"Our three coaches didn't think you were right for them at that moment, but that doesn't mean you are not right for someone else," he says. "Or perhaps [you] just need to polish your act for next time."

We believe there will be lots of next times for the 12 models and we figured we'd give them the chance to say their peace in their own words. Take it ladies:

Amanda Delgado

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

When I wasn't chosen for one of the teams I was disappointed that Iwas being sent home so early and that they didn't get a chance to really get to know me and my skills.

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

I'd like to say to the coaches that I hope in the near future I could get a second chance to work with them!

What are you working on now?

Right now I am working on expanding my career and working on different projects. I will be passing on the title Miss US International in March so to follow my new journeys follow me @MissUSintl (Twitter & Instagram) Amanda-Delgado (tumblr) Or my fan page on Facebook.

Anna Roland

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

When I did not see any coaches with their folder up, I was surprised. Of course I was disappointed that I did not get the the chance to learn from the coaches and get to know them better.

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

I want to thank all three supermodels for giving me the once in a lifetime opportunity. Just meeting them in person was amazing. I wish I could have made it further in the competition but I'm sure the girl who won deserves it for all the right reasons :)

What are you working on now?

I am currently still modeling in Minneapolis. I am also working on launching my new business and am very excited to reveal what it is once it is up and running!

Ashley Hannemann

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

When I got kicked off—I was like DAMN IT! Wish I wouldn't have been so cocky thinking I didnt need to practice.

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

I would like Naomi to know how much I admire her! She's SO sweet and crazy beautiful.

What are you working on now?

Right now I'm working as a personal assistant for a real estate company, and after seeing how immature I looked on the show, I don't see modeling being in my future.

Daniela Lopez

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

I was sad and disappointed, but I know I'm young and I can go really far and accomplish my dreams.

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

It was a blessing being able to meet them. Thank you for the chance and this is not the last time you'll see me.

What are you working on now?

I've done magazines, Nordstrom, J.C. Penny, Garage, Aeropostale, Delia's, Macy's, Seventeen and much more. [Keep up with Daniela on Twitter at @DanielaLo322]

Gabriella Katia

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

I was sad my time on the show was ending and I feel that I would have kicked ass if given more time in the competition but I look at it as an experience and will keep moving forward with my modeling career that I started before being a contestant on The Face, and I look forward to what the future holds!

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

I want to give a personal thanks to all the coaches for letting me be a part of the competition. It was so great to meet all of them and see their personalities and how they really are. I hope to be able to meet/work with them again in the future!

What are you working on now?

I am currently still modeling as my full time job and just moved to Miami, I just shot a part in a Kenny Chesney music video, and I am about to fly out to Toronto again to shoot for Coquette Lingerie. Watch out for me this year and follow me on my social network sites (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) to stay up to date with everything I'm working on.

Imani Shani Walton

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

When I saw no one had a folder up for me I was just thinking to myself (after wanting to tell them off) "man, how did ALL 3 of you just make the worst mistake for this competition?"

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

Just thanks for the opportunity:) I'm already on the road to the top, see you when i get there!

What are you working on now?

Just know I'm working ;) [Keep up with Imani on Twitter at @i_am_her]

Jessica Lytle

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

When I realized none of the coaches had a book up, I was pretty upset. I wish I could have gotten the chance to learn more from them.

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

To the coaches—Naomi, Karolina and Coco I wish all/any of you would have taken a chance on me. I am a very strong person and an insanely competitive girl and I would have loved showing you that I have what it takes.

What are you working on now?

I'm working on improving as a model. I'm constantly practicing, studying the art of modeling, doing local shows/photoshoots. I'm planning on moving up to NYC in March to get with an agency and start working as a full-time model. [Keep up with Jessica on Twitter at @JessicaLytle1]

Kimberly Davis

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

I felt nervous and scared because I knew I had messed up on my walk so I was worried!

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

I would say that I hope they have a lovely happy new year and I would ask for their advice for what they think I should do to help further my modeling career!?

What are you working on now?

Well, since I am a human being, and, like, most models, can't survive off modeling alone—since we all know the industry really does not pay well at all unless you are a top model—I am moving from France back to the USA (Florida) to work for awhile to pay off some debt. In the meantime I will be getting even more in shape and looking to build my book so I can sign in Miami or NYC after I have payed off my debit of $1,300. Life doesn't always work how you want it to, but you keep trying and I am not giving up that is for sure! [Keep up with Kimberly on Twitter at @kimdavis2011]

I'm a sore loser so it stung a little, but I kept my composure. I knew life goes on and it wasn't the end of the road for me!

Masha Diduk

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

I was upset because I thought I had a bigger chance then a lot of the girls who were previously in elimination rounds and I never was. I think the judges made a mistake. At first I was upset, but I knew I couldn't change it so I just had to suck it up and strive for bigger and better things.

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

Hi! And I hope they were happy with their teams and they made a mistake !

What are you working on now?

As of recently I've been looking for a New York agency to sign with whole working in Philadelphia with Streamline Model Management and doing local work while working part time at Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. [Keep up with Masha on Twitter at @MashaBabyyy]

Morgan Brayden

What were you feeling when you realized that none of the coaches selected you for their team?

I was very disappointed. I allowed a small negative thought effect me and in turn it shortened my journey on "The Face," I’m a confident person and generally don’t let things hold me back. Most importantly, I am extremely happy to have had the opportunity to be a top 24 contestant on the first season of "The Face!"

Is there anything you'd like to say to the coaches today?

It was very nice meeting all of you! I wish I could have gotten too spend more time with you and I hope to bump into you all again :D

What are you working on now?

I competed in my FIRST pageant, Miss Southern Coast Regional, and placed second runner up. I will be competing at Miss Orange County Regional 2014 later this year. I'm modeling for a couple of clothing companies, plus I'm a cover model for Oday Shakar. I'm scheduled to host Newport Fashion week with Emile Welman (former Overtone band member).

I have recently enrolled in my FIRST acting class and am really enjoying it! While I was living in Los Angeles, everywhere I went people asked me if I was an actress... Never in my life have people asked me that until recently. The thing that blew my mind the most was when I sitting with some of the contestants on "The Face" and they asked me if I act?! LOL! Of ALL places (a modeling competition) would I have ever expected to have been asked that question. So I decided to take a try at it! I worked for “New Girl” and “Two and a Half Men” and am proud to say I am one voucher away from being SAG eligible. I am also proud to say that I have returned to school at the University of Phoenix. And by the time we all see this post, I will probably be in the process on another new journey... of some kind! :)  [Keep up with Morgan on Twitter at @Morgan_Brayden]
